Saving the world one Botox treatment at a time...

My first of many blog posts.  I wouldn't say I'm late to the game, but I definitely should have started this a few years back.  Life takes you down some curvy roads but with a little bit of faith you end up right where you're supposed to be.

A little about me...I've been in the aesthetics industry for almost 10 years.  I started at the bottom, and I'm working my way up.  I started as a receptionist in a plastic surgeon's office while in nursing school...worked in the operating room as a nurse circulator and scrub nurse doing cases most probably couldn't wrap their minds around...moved into a plastic clinic setting where my patient's ran the spectrum of breast cancer survivor to lifestyles of the rich and famous...left the surgical scene all together to join a medspa/dermatology group and solely inject neurotoxins and fillers for a living...and now I train doctors, nurses, PAs how to safely incorporate injectables into their practice.  I make jokes that I don't help save peoples lives on a daily basis anymore, but for now...I'm saving the world one Botox treatment at a time...

In all seriousness, I love what I do and take a lot of pride in it.  Aesthetics in the United States is still so young compared to other established countries, so I'm happy to be a part of it.  I look forward to sharing industry tidbits, my thought process and theory when addressing aesthetics, and I look to gain knowledge and insight on posts from people within the industry and aesthetic enthusiasts.  For starters...shameless plug...here are a few sights I may or may not have a soft spot for...
